One day I started walking into the forest of bamboo wooden strings, and as I took a seat down to rest my feet, pulled out the Chester and started reading. I traveled round from tea parties on wooden rafts through history. In time that past I ended up in galaxies and endless dreams. To be or not to be, or should I take my life, for my love left lost the light. Aztecan streets I traveled down, pyramids and moped growls. Sharp shot upon the apples eye, he pulled the trigger watched him die. Cowardly lions of storybooks, golden compass, thieves, and crooks. Above the clouds peering from heavens gates, erect I stood, a soldiers stake. In big white houses, a guest to noble ones, big toy soldiers and jaws of steel and crumbs. To be or not to be, or should I take my life, for my love left lost the light. Aztecan streets I traveled down, pyramids and moped growls. Packed up my bags and left the woods, the forest strewn with books and goods. There I was back on my way, to normal life outside the page. To be or not to be, or should I take my life, for my love left lost the light. Aztecan streets I traveled down, pyramids and moped growls.

Close To Me 04:16
Won’t you come to me; it’s been a long time since I saw you. Once as children with the biggest hearts, we stood and wrapped our arms around each other. And once I saw a smile, a red balloon that floated high above; that took the frown up off your face, if only there we could have stayed. Oh, oh. I want you close to me. Oh, oh. I want you near to me. Cause in your arms, is where I want to be. On a rainy day in June, I kissed the dew up off your nose, and you said that we could keep this love as long as we made sure nobody ever knows. And you said you’re coming back, but now the days they seem to pass., and it looks like we are done at last. And it looks like we are done at last. Oh, oh. I want you close to me. Oh, oh. I want you near to me. Cause in your arms is where I want to be.

So Bright 03:45
Take take take me down to the hole in the ground. Dig dig dig dig down to Chinatown. Come come come with me, I will wait for you. Follow me, follow me, follow me down the rabbit shoot. (So Bright, So Bright). Wait wait wait wait wait you are coming in clear. The day break the day break the day break, the sun is burning near. Fly out no worries, no worries are waiting in the atmosphere. The stars they are, stars they are, stars they are shining for you my dear. So Bright, So Bright. Wake wake wake wake wake, you are lighting the night so bright. Stay by my, stay by my, stay by my side through the dark dark night. Tailor a, tailor a, tailor a thought you are running the blackened sky. The stars they are, stars they are, stars they are lighting your eyes. So Bright. So Bright.

Drops 04:18
It’s a rainy day in my heart and the stop signs lying down parked, on the torn up black and yellow street, the caution signs are screaming, slow down, slow it way down. The cars were zooming by that night, red and blue to green and yellow headlights. The storm was bottled up so tight that when the earth collide. It was pieces of my heart, flying round the world in seconds. The storm watchers climbed to their cars and sped towards the eye. I combined to collide; I combined, as if a chemistry gone bad inside. Torn clothes ripped from her body and dirt clods clot her wounds. Scrap metal as a shield to save herself from flying doom upon her. Hold me tighter then my rain drenched clothes. She yelled to Jesus; please just take me back home. Send me home to my love. It’s a rainy day in my heart and the stop signs lying down parked, on the torn up black and yellow street, the caution signs are screaming, slow down, slow it way down. Just Stop.

All we’ve ever want are honest creatures. All we’ve ever seen we’ve seen before. All we’ve ever had were early bedtimes. All we’ve ever felt we’ve felt again. When I was a boy, when I was a young boy. Sat upon the rocks and when swimming there. When I was a boy, when I was a young boy. Sat upon the sun and I never got down. We were talking to ourselves in a feathered battle. Spitting out the things that we couldn’t say. Taking up a post at the sheriff’s office. We were the ones in our way, yeah, we were the ones in our way. It wasn’t till that night I saw you underneath the lamplight.
